Something to Believe In 8 is the eighth and final chapter of Season 3 and seventeenth chapter of ēlDLIVE.
Summary[]
Chuuta and Misuzu finally see each other again after all of the events that happened. Misuzu asks to see his updated Monitalien, which causes a disgusted reaction from her for an unknown reason. She lashes out at Chuuta and attempts to leave, but Chuuta, angry, asks her what is her problem. She tells him that his SPH has gotten stinkier compared to before.
The next day, on Earth, Mimi waves goodbye to Chuuta as he leaves for school. She notices that he looks downcast and remembers how yesterday he showered for a whole hour and used her perfume and antiperspirant without telling her.
Chuuta meets up with Misuzu and Chips, who tells him that they have some business to do in the morning and they are going to the élDLIVE Earth branch. Chuuta asks if his SPH smells any different, but Chips says his SPH smells the same as always. Misuzu turns to tell him that what she said yesterday was a mistake, and that he doesn't smell, despite the fact that she's wearing a nose clip. She denies that it is a nose clip, but then says that police officers shouldn't be unable to work just because of the smell, meaning that she still thinks he smells but is bearing with it.
Just then, Chips sees Dr. Love, Veronica, and Ninotchka arrive and calls them over. All three of them are wearing the Shirobori Middle School uniform. Chips says that they will be working with them from now on. Chuuta and Misuzu are shocked.
